Congratulations to Mountain Buggy from Glenhuntly Baby Carriages for winning an Innovation Award for
their new Free Rider toddler buggy board. Because we all know that toddlers can
never make up their minds!
It’s such a smart idea, in two quick movements the Free Rider converts
from toddler buggy board to independent toddler scooter.
As you know, your toddler gets tired and you either have to carry them
or put them in some mode of transport. You’re then left pushing the pram,
carrying the scooter (or bike) and trying to get them to stop
dawdling.
With the Free Rider you just re-attach the buggy board and away you all
go. The handle bar is also detachable so the Free Rider can be tucked up behind
your pram when not in use.
One of the features we like about the Free Rider is that it can be
attached anywhere along the back bar of the chassis of any Mountain Buggy. So
you can push on one side while you toddler rides on the other. This is a great
option to combine a day out, into a family friendly day for
everyone.
At Glenhuntly Baby Carriages we have the Mountain Buggy Freerider Kiddie board in stock giving your toddler the freedom to ride independently , the freerider is a buggy board and scooter all in one.
Compatible with all mountain buggy strollers, including the swift, urban jungle, duo and terrain, the freerider can
accommodate tots up to 20kgs.
To use the freerider as a buggy board, simply attach it to the rear axle of
your stroller and let your little one ride along and help you push. Position the
freerider wherever it's least likely to interfere with the natural stride of
your walk while you push. When attached to the stroller, the handlebar of the
freerider can be removed so the stroller seat can still recline. When your
independent rider is ready for some freedom, convert the freerider into a
freestanding scooter.
